"Exploring all that is pet friendly in the Sunshine State"
May, 2008 Vol. 6 No. 5

|
Greetings, everyone!
If you have trouble viewing emails with
images, we don't want you to miss the good
stuff, so please read the
NewsPetter here.
Due to illness, I had to set
the NewsPetter aside for
a couple of months. However, I'm back in the
pink
and extending a
hearty "Welcome!" to our numerous
new readers
and a
big
"Thanks for hanging in there" to our
long time
subscribers.
One of our readers named
Lydia wanted me to alert
anyone who loses a pet while vacationing in
the Tampa area to check with the Hillsborough County Animal
Services. "I want to see people find their
pets," Lydia said, "This is not a
no-kill
shelter and I am afraid for the animals that end
up here."
If you or someone you know ever loses a
pet, we've got a list of helpful lost and found resources that
can help with the search.
We join with our friend, Franky,
pictured
above, as he happily announces to the world
that summer is just around the corner.
Woohoo!

Tips and Tails
It's a pet bird's life. According to the
2007-2008 National Pet Owners Survey, 6.4
million American households have a bird and
they're getting the posh treatment. Many of
them receive daily pedicures and manicures
complete with nail polish.
Vroom in dog-speak?
Dogcars.com

They recently designated the Honda Element

gas mileage.
