  • Profile

Jupiter Beach is about 90 miles north of Miami. Dogs are allowed on beaches without lifeguards from Jupiter to Juno Beach. (South of Carlin Park and North or Marcinski.) Or, as the web site of Friends of Jupiter Beach, it's a 2.5 mile stretch of beach, from North of the Juno Beach Life-Guarded area to South of the Carlin Park Life-Guarded area - crossovers 2-24. Available amenities include benches, handicap access, poopbags, parking, restrooms, trash, shelter.

Important: dogs must be on leashes and guardians must clean up after them. For more information, call (561) 746-5134.
Web Mistress Note: The group called Friends of Jupiter Beach organized in 1994 after citizens complained about dogs on the beach. They work hard to keep the above stretch of beach leash-free with doggie bag dispensers and monthly volunteer clean ups. Visitors should follow the rules or find another place to play with their dogs.

    Reader Notes:

Directions to the dog beach from I-95: exit at Donald Ross Road, go east to to A1A, and turn left. The dog beach begins at the intersection of A1A and Marcinski Road.
