Lake Hiawatha Park
Once completed, Lake Hiawatha Park will eventually offer two separate dog parks. The first phase of the park will be open to the public toward the end of November, 2014. It is located at 450 N. 12th St. (also known as County Road 561) and inside its 128 acres, will feature the dog parks, a playground, a tree-stump obstacle course, hiking trails and a picnic pavilion. The two fenced dog parks - one for dogs 25 pounds or larger and a second for smaller dogs — will offer water fountains for both pups and people.
