ADVISORY of 01-09: One of our readers was recently a victim of a smash and grab on her locked vehicle in the parking lot of this park. Reminds all of us to lock in our trunks any valuables we carry with us to dog parks.
This park was co-founded in 2002 with Holly Hill, Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach and is considered the first public dog park in Volusia County. It has separate fenced areas for small dogs, large dogs, and dogs with special needs. Offers water, poop bags, garbage cans, restrooms and a picnic pavilion.
2. Volusia County parks
Pets are welcome at county parks (in addition to the parks listed above) as long as they are kept leashed and under control. Guardians must clean up after their pet and aggressive animals should be left at home.
NOTE: We can't visit every area on a regular basis, so if you have information about any dog parks or beaches, or any other animal recreation facilities, in the Holly Hill area, please contact FloridaPets.net.
