Julington Creek Animal Walk

Julington Creek Animal Walk is 9 acres of doggone, no leash fun with something no other dog park in North Florida offers – on-site veterinary care.
According to Jason Winchester, General Manager of Julington Creek Animal Walk (JCAW) and Julington Creek Animal Hospital (JCAH), Animal Walk membership is open to anyone, even non-clients of the animal hospital.
“People are able to purchase an annual or monthly membership, or a daily pass,” Winchester said, “We also offer a free day pass for prospective members to try out the park.”
Even though the Walk’s atmosphere is “paw-loose” and fancy free, attending pooches are always safe. Each park entrance is double-gated and latched. Built in barriers all around the property protect canines who specialize in digging out of perimeters.
JCAW is located at 12075-300 San Jose Boulevard. With a reputation of being wet and wild, there’s one pool for small dogs less than 25 lbs. and another pool for larger dogs. Other amenities include a wash up station, professional agility course, turtle pond, and lots of open fields and nature paths for exploration.
“We pride ourselves on providing a fun, safe, and convenient pet park facility,” Winchester said.
In addition to the Walk and the full veterinary resources of Julington Creek Animal Hospital, owners also provide doggie day care, boarding services, grooming, a pet bakery, and classes with a professional dog trainer.
NOTE: We try our best to cover all pet friendly locations in the Jacksonville area, but if you have information about any dog park, beach, restaurant, store, or any other animal recreation facilities, in the Jacksonville/Duval County area, please contact FloridaPets.net.
