Lakeland (Polk County) Dog Parks

1. Dog Leg Woods Dog Park

Located off Cleveland Heights Boulevard (southwest corner of the Cleveland Heights Golf Course. Opened by the City of Lakeland in March 2018, this park offers three acres of unleashed fun, separate areas for small and large dogs, shade trees, space for canine games, water fountains for pets and people, and a dog watching station.

2. DiOGi Park at Loyce E. Harpe Park

Located at 500 W Carter Road, Lakeland. This fenced, off-leashed dog park offers doggie water fountain, agility equipment, fire hydrants, and a separate small dog area.

We are told dogs on leashes are permitted in any of the city's parks without swimming pools. Those would include, but not be limited to, the following parks:
1. Adair Park. Located on Lakeland Hills Boulevard adjacent to historic Henley Field.
2. Barnett Family Park. Located at 121 South Lake Ave.
3. Curtis Peterson Park. Located at 3700 Cleveland Heights Boulevard.
4. Dobbins Park. Located at 514 W. Ariana Street.
5. Lake Bonny Park. Located on US 98, across from Lakeland High School.
7. Lake Mirror Park. Located on Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland.
6. Lake Parker Park. Located at 910 E. Granada Street.
