Located on JD Miller Road. Directions: from Route 331 and 98 go west one block. Turn right, or north onto JD Miller Road. Park is about 1/4 mile on right. Open sunrise to sunset. This is a two-acre, off-leash dog park. Offers separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. A certified certified canine behaviorist and trainer will offer discounted group and private lessons to all park members as soon as park opens. Dogs must be up to date on immunizations and flea preventative.

"This is now considered the #1 'Off leash' Dog Park in Walton County Florida. It's a non-profit organization managed and operated by volunteers who form the Board of Directors. The park is open Tuesday to members only.

2. Beaches in Walton County

Only residents and property owners in Walton County are eligible for “dog on the beach” permits. The permits are issued by the county Tax Collector’s Office annually, each expires August 1 and cost $30 per dog. There is a two-week grace period to renew. Walton allows dogs on the beach (with permit tags) from 3 p.m.-9 a.m. during fall and winter and from 6 p.m.-8 a.m. during daylight-saving time. Animals must have proof of rabies vaccinations.
