"I declare this park - and the beach discussed below - to be the best dog-friendly park in the state."
"There was also a nice smaller fenced area in the dog park...not as large as the Bayshore dog park, but the setting here is gorgeous! The park area, in general, is awesome with a lot of family areas with playgrounds, area to walk, picnic tables, restrooms, even a restaurant. My husband and I were walking through the dog park area that leads to the beach and remarked it was like being at Disney because of the nice walkways, benches, and scenery."
Same area as Brohard Paw Park above, also located at 1600 Harbor Drive. This is the section of the beach that is dog-friendly. Open 7 days a week, 7:00 a.m. to dusk. "You can't imagine what it is like to sit on the beach with your dogs and watch amazing sunsets from this beach. At least 25 percent of the time when I am there for a sunset, I see dolphins cresting the waves. It's the most amazing dog park in this country, not just Florida!"
